Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes - Beginning on Wednesday, October 13, 2009 and concluding on November 18, 2009.
Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes offers a JustFaith educational series, Prison Reform: Church of the Second Chance. The program will run from 9:00 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday mornings at St. Dominic's Parish Center, Shortsville.
The title of the program comes from the book, The Church of the Second Chance, by Jens Soering, an inmate who has written three other books while in prison, including the award winning The Convict Christ.

An informational meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 at St. Dominic's Parish Center. The group will be limited to 15 participants, so please register early. In order to have materials available for all participants, pre-registration is required for this program.
The same program, sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes, Westminster Presbyterian Church and St. Mary's Church, will be held in Auburn from 2:00 to 4:00 on Wednesday afternoons, Oct. 13-Nov. 18 at Westminster Church, 17 William St., Auburn.
